Thursday - July 18

3 mile run later today.  It is hot and gross out.  I believe I will be doing this one in my basement when I'm done with work. 

3:45pm - well, the run didn't happen :(. I will call it taper. I haven't run since Sunday. Maybe a short 2-3 miler tomorrow. Feeling overwhelmed with all the crap called life right now. I don't want IM to be over, but I know when that is done, life will slow down a bit.

Ride with Lyndsey. Well, went to blow up the tires and what do you know, tw valve thingy broke off, so a flat tire before we even started. First time I've ever had to change a tire. It took me 25 minutes, but I did it!! :)

Well, the swim didn't happen yesterday. It'll bet done today along with the short bike and run I am do to as well. It'll get done today as we are leaving earlier than planned. Sparky got a severe rope burn tubing yesterday and we are going to go home late this morning. No water time for her so she doesn't want to stay. I don't blame her. It is pretty nasty.

5 hour ride then a 20 minute run ... Pack, hopefully a nap, and then drive up to the cabin. Hubcap is still not good. I am really worried. Don't know what to do, but, i do know this. he is sick of everyone asking what is going on ... :(
