7PM Woke up at 4AM to knocked out that trainer session, but was not able to get out and swim during lunch. Gah! That was my biggest goal for the day! Double Gah!

Watched "Spirit of the Marathon" during this ride. Good documentary. I'll have to watch the rest of it soon.

Going out of town this weekend. Will wake up early tomorrow and knock out another trainer session, then probably hang it up for the weekend.

April 4

Swim
  • 40m
  • 2000.00 meters
  • 02m /100 meters

4x500m

9PM Easy w/o today. I missed my trainer session and was pretty pissed at myself. Will make it up tomorrow.

Don't see a lot of working out happening this weekend since we're going out of town. I may try to sneak in a few runs, but that will prove to be very difficult, I suspect.

April 3

Run
  • 1h 00m 49s
  • 8.02 miles
  • 07m 34s /Mi

2PM Easy run. At mile 5, I got my legs back! Felt good overall, but felt especially good at that point.

Took the day off of work to try and get over this cold. As I stated, it's more than likely from allergies. New area, new allergies.

April 2

Bike #1
  • 1h 00m 01s
  • 14.80 miles
  • 14.79 Mi/hr

Bike #2
  • 42m 23s
  • 6.65 miles
  • 9.41 Mi/hr
Run
  • 31m 51s
  • 4.40 miles
  • 07m 14s /Mi

9PM Legs feel fine, but I can tell there's no "giddyup" in them yet. I'm a little surprised, since it has been two weeks since the marathon and I'm not fully recovered. I feel fine, but it is obvious I'm not 100% yet.

2PM Rode around the lake pulling stroller. Nice day out. The smell of pollen and allergens was overwhelming.

My Garmin reset the wheel size by 10mm. I wonder if that'll make a difference in TrainerRoad. I have to think it will.

10AM Hell of a workout. Still have a headcold that I can't seem to get rid of.

Hope to get a run in later in the day.

April 1

Bike
  • 1h 00m 01s
  • 14.31 miles
  • 14.30 Mi/hr

8PM Managed to fit in a w/o. Man, intervals are just tough. The countdown on the timer seems to slow down when you're suffering.

I think I am going to aim for 4-5 hours a week of cycling, 3 of running, and 2 of swimming. I can definitely improve with that amount of training, as long as it's quality training.

March 31

Bike
  • 1h 15m 07s
  • 17.09 miles
  • 13.65 Mi/hr

7PM A workout tomorrow is not looking good. :(

12PM Centennial Ride on TrainerRide. Whew!

Watched From Dusk Till Dawn during this ride. Go Salma!

8AM Planning on getting on TR for their CENTENNIAL ride today. That looks like a B!0TCH. It's raining out, otherwise, I'd be riding.

WTF is up with NC? It rains here every weekend.

March 30

A ton going on today. Had to take the day off...
