No time for anything today.: (
Intervals.
8PM Wow, I am getting pounded lately with extra work and activities that are sapping almost all my free time. I don't ever remember being this busy at one time. After this week, I am going to have to start waking up early again. I'm not a fan of the 4AM wakeups, but it seems to be the only way I'm going to get my time in...
On top of that, my f'n Garmin keeps losing its sync with my HRM. I've had it a while now, so maybe it has reached the end of its life cycle.
Psyched about Woodlake Sprint this weekend! I know for a fact that there will be some stiff competition. With the lack of quality training lately, I'm just going to go out there and do my best. We'll see what happens.

10PM Good effort today...Felt like running alot harder, but held back and enjoyed the run.
7AM Confirmed registration at Woodlake Sprint. Goal is to red-line entire race, race smart, and minimize wasted time.

Don't think I'll get to workout today, since I'll be driving home directly after we're done...

9PM Intervals. Wow, rode my road bike, that has clipless pedas, with running shoes. That was an experience. I kept slipping off when I'd start the hard efforts. Ha!
Got in to the room kind of late. Wanted to go longer, but I have to wake up too damn early. Boo.
10AM Will try to get in a longer run today. That depends, of course, on what time we get out of work today.

10PM Just didn't have any desire to workout today. Been awake since 5:30 this morning, so that's my excuse.
Forgot my damn cycling shoes. WTF. I brought EVERYTHING else. I may just do a trainer session in faqn Newtons!
8PM Just got into my room. Debating whether to work out or just chill...

VO2 Max Test:
68.5 mkm
4.9 l/min
15.8% bf <--wtf!
7PM Went to the Army Wellness Center today for a VO2 Max test. The visit also included a body fat screening, strength assessment, and general health checkup.
VO2 Max test was cool. The tech hooked me up to a mask, then started the treadmill. After the test, she said that I had the highest VO2 Max reading they had ever seen at that clinic! Cool.
The body fat screening shocked me. Over 15%? Really? I know what one of my goals is going to be...as of NOW.
To go along with that, I found out that I'm a weakling...barely average in strength tests that I had to perform.
Strength training and muscle building will now be a goal. No wonder I can't swim for crap! I'm a weakling!
For intervals today, I made sure I hit LT (and above) for the hard efforts. I got off the stationary bike shaky.
