So, it's a bummer we're not going to have any help on the swim for B2B. The tide is forecast as slack for that day. This will give me a chance to test myself with no assist, so it's all good.

Looking forward to the race...Feel well trained, even though I didn't get longer weeks of training in, and think I have a chance to actually race B2B.

Welcoming taper, and I realize how it helps, but I think I'm going to miss the volume once this is said and done.

Very wet and windy ride today. Constant drizzle, which would turn into a rain, then back to a drizzle, then stop, then start all over. I was soaked. Pushed into the headwind, but it pushed back! Nice to have the wind at my back during a few sections, but didn't feel like there were many of those.

Upped cals to 300/hour on this ride. I felt fine, even when I was really pushing it on the hills or into the wind. I think that is what I'm going to aim for at B2B.

Good run on a nice morning. Weather was cool enough not to wear long sleeves.

Tempo run. Easy at the start and picked it up for middle miles, then slowed it down for last few miles. Felt great.
