Wow, what an awesome race today! Temps were almost perfect and the atmosphere rocked! Made quite a few mistakes today that cost me a lot of time, but they've been added to the "things not to do" mental page.

Worked hard on the swim and the bike to see how it would carry over to the run...Need to revisit some things before B2B, but overall, happy with this race. Goal was to beat B2B time on a harder course. Mission accomplished.

Will detail everything in a race report, which I'll start working on tomorrow.

What a busy day! Between registering, attending the athlete brief, looking around the expo, and checking in to hotel and getting to the pasta dinner, the day was done. Decided to just take a rest day.

Really, really felt good in the water today. Have been playing with my form a bit and noticed that shortening arm length during pull is more efficient, faster, and less taxing. Yesterday, tested that out quite a few times during intervals. Did the same today and it just feels better.

Run was in low Z2. Felt great.
