Let's see if I can at least get 2.5 hours of cycling in this weekend. Boy, it's going to be a WET ride. Has not stopped raining/drizzling ALL day. As long as there's no lightning, going to ride...

Rode with Doug in the pouring rain. Very hilly route and we just didn't push it hard b/c of the rain. He was gassed after 45ish, or so, so we slowed way down, but still a good ride. I made sure to really hammer it up the hills.

Although a fairly slow ride, pleased to get close to 4 hours in. Didn't expect it.

A few notes: On this ride, peed twice while on the bike. Both times, I pushed it hard up a steepish hill so that Doug was at least 100m back, then straightened a leg, pulled it out, and peed off to the side doing prob 10mph. Doug never noticed and I didn't get a drop on me. Booyah.

Nice little ride with Steve today. Only rode the airfield 3x, but we rode it semi hard in some places, and semi easy on others. Cool, cool feel...almost like fall.

I'm really liking the Pope route. I can get out there and do loops for short or long periods. It's got a little bit of everything and then work is just a few mins away.

Swam during lunch today. Really worked on form today. The pool I swam at has a 25 yard side, and a 27 meter side...Strange, but opted to go with the longer distance despite the off number.

It's an Army Reserves weekend, so I don't know what I'm going to be able to do...I'm hoping we get out semi early tomorrow so I can get a few hours of riding in before it gets dark.

No Garmin, so ran on feel. Felt pretty good and the weather was fabulous.

Also did eccentrics throughout the day and iced a bit this evening.

Rode with David Fairbanks today. We really took it easy and didn't push it too hard. I did push a section on the second loop pretty hard, right as we started a climb. I wanted to test David to see if he was strong on hills. Not only did he hang, he came around and could have dropped me pretty easily. He's a beast on the bike.

Swam during lunch. Did a hard w/u, simulating a race start, then settled in and then did drills.
