I've gotta sit down and break down all the ride time to figure out my pace, but it won't be too impressive. Rode to Ryan's and then he and I did a couple loops through Wash Park before heading back to his house for a run. Then I rode home. After a break at home, Rachelle and I rode to Tiffany Plaza so she would know how to ride there on her own. So lot's of riding today.
Nice run w/ Ryan after our bike ride. My HR seemed to stay a bit on the high side even though my PRE didn't seem unusual. Might have been a combination of the heat and poor nutrition intake on the bike.

Treadmill run this morning.

It was pretty breezy on the way out, but I had the wind at my back coming home. I got way too cold though. I still had the "tingly" sensation in my toes and fingers from being too cold when I went to bed.
Went to the gym to swim this morning but the pool was closed - Too tired to be upset. Besides, I've got a brick planned for this evening and I can do the swim tomorrow. Coffee...must have coffeee.
Quote of the Day:

-T. Alan Armstrong
Well, my brick turned into a longer bike ride, so I figured I better not push my luck when I got home. Swim and run planned for tomorow which is usually my off day.

Really tough swim this morning. I could tell that I lifted last night. I just didn't have the strength that I'm used to. Not that I have strength to spare anyway. I'm sure it didn't help that the girl in the lane next to me swam like a shark either. It almost completely crushed my ego to be lapped every 2 or 3 laps. But then I reminded myself that I'm a crappy swimmer anyway, so who cares if I get lapped :)
On another note, I don't know what's going on w/ my weight. For the past couple months, I've been hovering anywhere from 156 to 159. I weighed myself this morning and I'm down to 153. Seems like a pretty big swing to me. I'll start logging my weight and weighing myself before each workout at the gym. It probably won't be the same time everyday, but it's something I'm gonna keep an eye on for a while.
85 minute bike ride for tonite. Maybe longer if I have time and motivation.
I was running short on time when I left the house, so I knew I would'nt get a full ride in before dark, but I did get to ride out to Cherry Creek Res and back home. Lots of cyclists were out today so, I got to pass quite a few folks. Last downhill into my neighborhood is a pretty good one and I always try to ride fast enough so cars don't need to pass me. Well I had some lady in a Jeep Liberty pacing me. I think the kids in the car got a kick out of it. The speed limit is only 25 but we were doing about 38 and gaining speed when I looked down. Wooo hooooooo!!!

Busy morning at work so far. When I got in just before 7 this morning, I was asked to do orientation training for 18 new employees who are working on a completely separate contract. Since it is a new contract, there's alot of chaos. Did the best I could, but it seems that there were alot of questions that I couldn't answer because I haven't been working on the contract and because no one else who was working on the contract had the answers. Sounds pretty rough, but I really enjoyed the change of pace. Back to the same old grind this afternoon, but I doubt I'll be able to lift over lunch. We'll see...
Ended up w/ no workout at all today. Probably not a bad thing since I've gone for over a week w/ no break.
