Carried Accelerade in my Camelback which seemed to work well. In the past, my body has produced ammonia in noticeable amounts during long workouts. Accelerade seems to have prevented that.

Enjoyed a nice run while Rachelle did her aerobics class.\

Really a very zen like run.  Ran from 24 HR Fitness at Tiffany Plaza down to Bible Park for a several laps then south on a paved trail for a mile or so.  Turned around just before the trail crossed another street and headed back to the gym the same way I came including a couple more laps around Bible park.  During the tempo portions of the run, I felt very strong.  My legs and breathing felt so good, I let my heart rate do whatever it wanted and went solely by RPE.  Ended up being a tough run, but I really feel like a put in a very good workout.  It's not often that I think I accomplished exactly what I wanted to do in a workout, so today was a very good day.

Since I really can't remember how many laps I did around the park, my distance may be a bit off.  It was either 5 or 6 laps.  Six seems like a bit too much.  I don't think I was that fast today :)

After getting 6 hours of sleep for the past few nights, I discovered that 7 hours of sleep makes an enormous difference.  I feel like a new man!!!  Although I did get up at 4 this morning, I had a little prep work to do before the 7 am training class, so I'll take an extended lunch and do my swim then.

 2:02 pm
Swim felt great.  I was supposed to do 2300 yds, but cut it short so I wouldn't be missed at work <sssshhhh, dont' tell anyone>

Ate a small dinner when I got home and quickly realized that I was nearly spent, so I bagged the swim and went to bed early to try and get some good sleep.

This swim pretty well kicked my ass. Towards the end, I was having difficulty keeping my pace below 2:00, so I definitely need to work on my endurance.

Planned on swimming this morning, but opted for an extra hour of sleep since I still wanted to get into work somewhat early.  I'll get my swim in after work, and then do a short bike ride.
