Drills and a couple 400 yard repeats. Lap times continue to come down as I regain my feel for the water. It was a short swim though, so the jury's still out.

Feeling better in the water, but I'm still slow. Most laps were still above 1:50 but my avg lap is coming down, so I'm headed in the right direction.
I've got a swim for today, so that shouldn't bother my toe, but the run for today is gonna get bagged unless it magically heals itself. If it doesn't get better in the next day or two, I'll go to the doc.
On the good news front, I got my motorcycle sold last night!!!! It was bit harder to see it go than I thought it would be. It was an awesome bike, but no sense in keeping something around that I never used any more.
On another note, I've had an annoying squeak in my clutch for the past several years and haven't been able to find the source, so I took the underside of my dash apart and lubed the master cylinder and what appeared to be a return spring or something. I lubed the shite out of them, but the squeak still wouldn't go away. Finally I found what appears to be a small plastic electrical switch that connects to the arm of the clutch pedal. It was the only other thing touching the clutch, so I wiped off the dust with my finger and poof, no more squeak. Whoulda thunk?

Got to spin class at DTC early this morning and sure enough, the instructor and quite a few other people were there too for an "informal" spin before class. That's the first time I've gone to this particular class. Looks like quite a few triathletes are in there. One girl was obviously doing a brick and the guy next to me did IM Florida this year, so that was cool.
Our game was at 11:00 pm!!! We had several of our best players out this week and the team we played ended up being better than the one we played last week. It was a tough game and our goalie actually scored our first goal from just outside of the goalie box. It was a freaking awesome line drive that probably would have put a hole in anyone who stepped in front of it. Unfortunately, we ended up losing 7-3. On top of that, I've managed to hurt a toe on my right foot. I'm not sure if it's broken or not, but it is very swollen and all black and blue now. I'm hoping that I just jammed it.
January 28
5 min warmup on the elliptical trainer and then we hit "Cindy" which was 5 pull ups, 10 push ups and 15 squats repeated for 20 minutes. This turned out to be tough (as expected) but really fun. Rachelle did this w/ me and I think she was really shocked at how hard these workouts are. Not sure how many rounds I did. I'd put my guess at about 12.
