Easy ride to show the place to Steve, then we rode the run course to see how hilly it was ... well it is ;)
A bike ride of 30 minutes or so and a 10-15 minutes swim after that to get ready for tomorrow.

3 * 5/1 run walk to test the hip. It was not perfect but I could run no problem on it. Heading to the chiro tonight to get another ART treatment then I will pray for Sunday ;)
I have another appointment tonight with the chiro to get some ART done on the hip again. Then packing, washing the bike and tomorrow morning we are heading to Syracuse! I just hope that my body will let me go for a solid race on Sunday and that I won't have to drop out. This would be my first DNF and honestly I am not mentally ready for it.
On the other side I have to look at the big picture, I can not afford an injury with the World Championships seven week from now.

Easy ride after work. I decided to not push hard on the bike to give a chance to my hip. I do not feel any pain while biking but even there I figured that I had nothing to gain for Sunday but everything to lose.

Swim with the club, back in the pool after a not long enough time IMO :p
I wish I could swim in the lake all year long, now that would be cold tho :p
Physical preparation #6
I figured that my 58 seconds of running yesterday don't count as a training, so it was an off day finally ... not by choice though.
I went to the chiro yesterday night to get it check, according to him my back was not as straight as it should be and I had a minor inflammation in one of my ass's muscle :p but I forgot which one. He treated me with some ART, told me to ice and come back Thursday. Lets hope that ART will do some miracle once again :)

Heading to the track like right now, lets hope that the pain is gone forever :D
Scratch that, ran 200 meters and I could feel it. Decided to bail the run instead of run on it and make it worst.

Not a great swim at all
Really disappointed with my bike, I rode 2:49 last year on that same course and I know that I am faster this year. Maybe that a third half IM in 7 weeks was a bit too much? Maybe that I just had a really bad day. I gotta find out and fast, Vegas is in 6 weeks
Elevation gain 837 meters
OH my, the run started really good and finished really bad =(
I am finally back home, today was a tough race to say the least.
My swim was ok but not great. My ride, well I am really unhappy with it, I am not too sure why yet but I should have ride at least 10 min faster.
As far as the run everything was going really well for the first 14km, I was doing something like 10 min run with 1 min walk. My plan was to walk every aid station, 1 min each to give the hip a chance. I had no pain except while going down the hills where I could feel a little bit of pain. After one loop I decided to keep going since everything was doing good. But at the 14th km the hip snapped, from there it went downhill really fast. I could not run faster than 6:30/km or so, and even there I had to take walk break every 3 min maybe. From that point the plan was to finish without any more pain to make sure I wouldn't make it worst than it already was. So as soon as I would feel pain, stop and walk. I even lay down and stretched it for a couple of minutes at some point
Lets just say that it didn't end the day like I wanted it to end =/
