I don't know where I found the energy for this. Spinervals 20.0 is killer. Multiple short bursts at 100%. I puked in my mouth once. Yucky. After the vid, I did some ladders and other stuff to finish of the planned 1:25 ride.

Day one of the last week of build is done.  I am proud of how I have physically and mentally kept it together over the last 5 months.  I don't think I am going to do great at the race, but I don't really care.  I am happy with the effort I have put in.  Today is a perfect example of hat I am proud of.  I did a run in the pouring rain with good effort and then really HTFU for the bike to night.  Thanks also to Yeajackson for motivating me on the bike.

Spinervals 26.0 (first 3 hours-come and get me coach Troy). I just had to HTFU and get this done. I had to give mock boards this morning, so I couldn't start workouts until the afternoon. This was the bike from yesterday since I spent it shopping with my girls. We had an awesome time, so it was worth it.

Yesterday was a fabulous day with my girls.  It was nice to take a day to be with them.  We did a bunch of shopping and got manicures.  I hate to lose my entire Saturday to workouts when my kids are with me, so we swam together and then had a great time hanging out.  We topped off the day with Yeajackson's concert.  He did Bach's Mass in B minor with his chorus and the Artemis Chamber Ensemble.  AMAZING!!!! I am so proud of him. He has always been dedicated to singing and it makes me proud to see him so fulfilled.

Okay run. Harlem hill kicked my ass more this week than last week. HR was very, very high today. I don't know how I sustained 1:55 min at LT.

I didn't get to swim today, but I figured that would happen.  I dove kids to riverdale, walked the dog, came home and dropped off dog, went to the office and had to search for a new place to put my car, ran, drove 2.5 miles home in 45 min, showered, dressed up, drove 2.5 hrs to CT and was late to a party I was throwing.  At least getting home was fast.  Long friggin day.

I saw my kids while running on their campus. I love it when that happens. Just an okay run. I felt like I was working harder than I should today. Maybe I am just tired from lack of sleep. I have a long run tomorrow. I hope I feel stronger for that.

Straight swim. This was not good at all. I felt like I was working pretty hard. I made a major change in my stroke on Sunday, and I need to work out the kinks I guess. It might also be because I am sick. I am not going to let it get me down.
