Club ride.

Went out with the club today. Holy cow they are fast. We went out for a friendly ride. I thought an hour or so not 2 and not that fast. We started out nice and slow to warm up then headed out to this mountain. My gears kept slipping up the hill so will have to figure that out. My handlebars get changed tommorow. We came back and went out fast at the turnaround after one guy fixed his flat. We hammered it. I tell you I was in my big gear and we were flying I even led for a while. I was getting tired near the end and my legs gave out with about 5k left. Considering that this was my furthest and longest ride ever times 2, i think I did quite well. Now I know I can do 40k. so will have to get in another long run before the end of the week. Start work tommorow, hopefully the end of 16hour work days as well. Later skaters.

Nice hard run.

Got in a run today. It was a nice hard run. The loop was nice but it was freaking hot. And humid. Very humid. It was like running through hot pockets of air that just stayed there. My Wife and Children Played at the park while I was running around so it kind of killed 2 birds with one stone. Might go to the lake for a little swim. If not I got in a good work out. Got my first 1500 straight in.

Gotta start training again. Will be doing all 3 today starting around 2ish and ending around 5ish. I do not work on my days off and so 3 days to get some good work in. Well, started the training oly. I got into the pool and started swimming with my JAVELIN outfit on. It fits well but I wish the top was a bit longer. The swim was awesome. I just kept counting down from 1500 until I hit 0. Pace was good. I could probably shave a few seconds off during the ow swim due to the turns. But it was my first 1500 swim ever. Not bad at all. Next I had to come home to get my bike. I had it all set up for me. But on the way home a light drizzle started and I thought I could ride in it. Well around 3 k It just started dumping. Well, I thought I was swimming again and almost got hit by 3 cars. I decided that I would just hammer 10 out and call it a day. Too dangerous out there right now. Oh well I am happy that I got my Transitition in and that My legs were fine to start biking so it was a good psuedo brick. I might go for a run later today if the weather and my children let me. On a side note: I was quite wobbley when I got out of the pool but that did not last too long. Later Skaters.

Got in a swim

Pulled off a swim today. Got in around 0730. Worked 16 hours yesterday. Need the money to get the wetsuit. I was tired but at the end, I just started going nice and slow and steady. It was probably one of my first enjoyable swims! Off to work again tonight. See if I can not get 16 hours again. Later skaters!

Got in a run today. Dad left early. Now have to get ready for work. See if I can't work 16 today. Need money for my Victoria trip.
