Went to the outdoor pool.

Going to see if this other pool will accept my pass. If not might have to hit the lake. Working again today so have to make it snappy! Went swimming at the outdoor pool. 100 200 300 400 300 200 100 all freestroke. IT was hot, and I was swimming in a highly clorinated pool.. Oh well at least I got the swim in. Later Skaters

Well, had to go out and push it.

Got up and went for a run. The first 2k were slow for me. I felt that I could not get my speed up First 1.75 was 8.02 2nd 1.75 was 7.26 3rd 1.75 was 7.15. and it is 500 each way so 1k round trip. I guess last sunday I could not pick it up. as I averaged about 8.15 per lap. Must have been the small hills in the trail slowing me down. Will have to start doing hills once again. Will try and get the swim in today during swimming lessons for my daughter. That damn pool was closed! Now what! Just got off the phone with my pool. Its closed until further notice. It apparenly blue a water main and now it is closed. What am I supposed to do now? I guess I will be doing more ow swims! Later Skaters.

Talk about your negative split!

Went for a bike ride. Started out like crap. Felt slow could not get my speed up was not working at all. Not to mention the wind was in my face for the first 5 k and then for abou 3 k at the halfway mark. Went out in the big wheel but had to go down to the small gear for the majority of my ride out. Kicked it on the way back. Felt pretty good in there. Might need new biking shorts. Not much cushioning I feel. Tommorow is a run and a swim. Almost want my taper week back ;)

Just got back from my swim. Did get some flip turns in but not quite beautiful. Oh well. It was good to get some drills in and start getting better at swimming. I was going to go for a 25 Min run but figured the 1:10 of hockey would suffice. Its not like I am just standing there. I am sweatin my stuff off out there. Not sure what tommorow will bring but I am sure that its going to be a bike ride of some sort. Well, off to bed and get a good night rest as it is my days off tommorow and the next. Later Skaters!

Well according to my book, I had to do a 1000 Meter swim followed by a 45 min easy spin. Thats what I did. Never pushed the big wheel until the end when the wind was with me. I felt suprisingly good today! Unlike yesterday when I just felt blah. Well, it was a beautiful day and the pool was nice. The ride was awesome only saw 2 cars on the back roads. Not as twisty as the race and not as bumpy. Tomorrow hockey and maybe a run. Later skaters.

Rest day for today. I am quite tired. Not sure if anything I do will be quality? Jen has decided to coach me! Can't wait until I see what kind of training she comes up with for me :) Later Skaters.

Well, I finished the race. It was quite hard. I bombed the run but oh well. I had a good time and the course was well layed out. I got to meet JENG and seen RUMPO. I believe I finished 47th with at time of 2:35:49 I believe I will update that as soon as I get the official results. My wife and children could not make it as it was going to be a long time for them standing around and waiting for me.(I only have one vehicle) so they stayed at home. :( Later skaters Race report to follow.
