"a" race at Bethel. Well, very very different than the "b" or Cat 4 races. people don't get dropped, groups get dropped, i was in the second group, we busted ass for 10 laps trying to get back to the front group, we got close but never got there.

typical tuesday ride, i went off the front and really pushed for about 10 mins, at one point i was going down a slight hill pushing the biggest gear and was holding 35mph with traffic, the guy in the truck pulled up to me at the next light and rolled down his window and said "do you know you were riding over the posted speed limit?" I said, well...yes, but so were you, lol. he laughed and drove away.
easy night recovery run

Two part run this am, first part was supposed to be a very aggressive 3 miler, than i was supposed to meet some friends and run a slow recovery pace for the same 3 miles.
I went pretty fast the first three, and felt like i had more in the tank. Second was very very slow, nice recovery.
did not get my 12 miler in yesterday, Mothers day got in the way, so i will get 3, 6 milers in this week and a 3 miler or two, and this sunday i will get my 12 miler done.

Sat morn group ride, i have come to the conclusion that my road bike is soooooo much more fun to ride in that scenario than the TT rig, especially when it is Hills route day. Wanted to get a 3 mile brick run in, but we have a 10:30 christining and it is 9:40 now, so i t will have to wait.
