Migraine day 6. It was VERY difficult to get out of bed and run today. Was supposed to do 800m repeats. Jogged to McClintock track, did 1 800m at about 8:35 pace and couldn't do anymore.

Biking with Mel. Partial IMAZ loop, plus second Beeline loop up to Bush Hwy.

All things considered, it was a good ride. Windy as usual, with the wind out of the east to make a crosswind up Beeline, but decent tailwind down Beeline on the first loop. Started out with a headache that could have been left over from the previous day's migraine or could have been the result of drinking too much wine last night. Also suffered sharp pains from menstrual cramps; Dean said I'd better not take the ibuprofen unless I absolutely needed it, so I just gritted through it. Right leg (hip and calf) was cramping bad by the Shea turnaround, but it worked itself out on the downhill. Plus I ate a banana at the first rest stop, and I think that helped keep cramping down for the rest of the ride. Had salt tablets every 45 minutes or so. PayDay bars when I stopped. Nutrition good except for the last rest stop -- had half a Marathon bar and a few Red Vine twists -- something didn't agree with my stomach. Maybe too much at one time. Something to keep in mind for IMAZ. Need more jelly beans! :)
