I'm finding it hard to embrace the long workouts this week. It's the last week of Base, and then two taper weeks. You'd think I'd be able to get myself into the pool for the last 2500m and run for the last 1+15 tempo run, but I let a little tickle in my throat sideline me from swimming. I haven't done weights in a while, so I did get that in, but will likely make up the swim tomorrow since I'll be in Henderson for Silverman this weekend.

4 loops of buoys at BJC with Dean
From Saguaro Lake to home via Beeline with 1 iMAZ loop. Met two ladies who drove here from Dallas to run, ride and swim the course (but swam Saguaro instead). At Landis later in the day, we met a guy from Canada who was here for the same thing and is leaving his bike here for the next two weeks. So exciting!
Short brick run after bike ride. Bill's right - the 12:1 ratio will be hard to keep, but if I can do it I should be able to finish the marathon in under 5 hours.
