Did my run on the TM this afternoon. I had a couple places I had to go and I snuck it in after I got back and before work got busy again. But if I am being totally honest I didn't want to battle the 20mph winds gusting to 30 outside. Worked up a nice sweat. A little slower then earlier in the week but I usually am on the TM. It seems harder to go slower on the TM for me. :(

Will walk more later.

 

Update: Not as much of a walk as I did the past 2 days but I was on the TM tonight and 40 minutes was my threshold.

Tried it and made it through the whole HIIT 30/30 workout with Cathe Friedrich. Last time I had to stop in the middle - did lower modifications on all of them except 1 that I can't do yet - burpees and my hand was hurting today so I didn't want to try it and hurt the hand - one of these days I need to give it a shot and see how it goes.

 

Off to walk with my neighbor. :) and then abs when I get home to stay on plan. :)

2.72 miles w/ neighbor Jean.

Boys are off for the first fishing trip of 2012 today. I am enjoying the day at home. Yesterday was a loungy day - laid in bed and watched tv/read all day with the dogs and hubby.  Got up and made appetizers and went to Jon/Jens for appetizers and games - I won my first time at bat for Mexican train dominos.. :) Came home about 10:30 and crashed. Slept through the new year.

 Have a 2 lap run again today and then am going to hopefully walk/run with the neighbor. Hoping to wait for it to warm up a bit (~an hour) and then go out. Wanna get the run in  before I walk with her just in case she bails.


2:00pm - long sleeve shirt under a t-shirt and 3/4 length yoga pants. Went for 2 laps - thought I was going slower but it seemed like I had a pretty even pace. NO STOPPING in this run :) :) :) Felt good.

No fishing today - winds are too high - would be rough on water. Friends houses later tonight.

Got the bike in. Now to finish work, mani and off fishing in the morning. Supposed to be in the mid-60's tomorrow - supposed to be a little windier than I want but I will take the dremamine to make sure I don't get sick like last fall - a year ago Sept we went fishing - we followed a storm in and thought we were good. Battled 5' waves and I was sick before the sun came up (have to catch bait with a light in the dark) :)

Truck said 55* when I came home from errands this am. Put stuff away, changed clothes and went and got a short run in. Long sleeve light weight shirt and shorts - legs were a bit chilly but nothing major, but I was still sweating a bit when I got done. Walked a bit but shorter than the other day. It will come back eventually hopefully.

Quiet afternoon without much going on. Took my cell and phone and went and sat on the trainer for 30. Figured if I waited to later I wouldn't get it done. :) Planned out a calendar for the month of January starting on the first that isn't overly ambitious but will keep me moving each day for a bit of time. Need to get consistent before I can start upping things.
