Took a short walk - nothing major. Hoping to run again tomorrow. Hubby told me we need to start counting calories again tomorrow. Today we tried 5 guys burgers which weren't bad. It isn't something I will be craving tomorrow which is a good thing :)
Made the grocery list, took a 2 hour nap with Lucy and watched some dvr shows with hubby. Hip still being a pain.

Had a fun ride - perfect morning for a ride. was up to almost 90 by the time we got home at 12:30 (we left the rest of the group to get home to Lucy who can't spend too much time in her crate without accidents yet). Thank goodness since they didn't get home until 6:30 (on what was to be a short trip). We met at the local casino parking lot with the group but we went into the casino before and had breakfast. Shared an omelet with hubby and had toast and hash browns. Glad to since it was all fried food when we got to the festival. Had to park the bikes a good mile down the road and road in on the trolley but unfortunately when we left before the parade was over the trolley wasn't running yet. So we hoofed it back in motorcycle boots the mile back.
Hip is being a pain again - each time I would throw my leg over to get on the bike it would pop. Not sure what the heck happened there.

Today is probably going to be an off day. Last night hubby went out for dinner and drinks with some guys that are here for his work conference this week. The dogs and I were out back in the yard playing - heading inside when Lucy went to get a drink of water out of the "pool" and there was a snake on the back patio. Grabbed her and Bo and Sammie luckily was already heading inside. Waited for the neighbors to come - luckily it was just a non-posionous garden snake but I had no clue. Scared the crap out of me with the dogs outside and what could have happened. Needless to say I didn't sleep well - Lucy was on the bed all night and only woke at 130 but I tossed and turned and dreamed the rest of the night. NOT a good night of sleep. Check up tonight for Bo's eyes and ears. Hoping to get signed off on that.
Tomorrow - Motorcycle ride with friends. Another test to see how the hand does after surgery. Pre surgery motorcyle ride would leave me numb and hurting... We will see. :)

swear to god Lucy is trying to kill me.. This week has been rough for her sleeping in her crate and I swear she is boycotting it. I am tempted to let her sleep on the bed tonight in hopes I will get more than 2 hours of sleep at a time. Only problem is I don't want her thinking she can get off the bed herself.
But last night went like this - we laid in bed watching tv from about 9:30 - she slept from 9:30 to 10:30 and I put her in her crate - she laid down and went back to sleep. She woke at 11:20 - went out to potty - came in, played a bit and laid back down in the LR with me. I woke at 1 and put her in the crate so I could crawl back in bed. 2:25 she is making noise. Up and outside. Comes in - lays down and goes back to sleep - we wake up at 615 on the LR floor. Hubby turned the alarm off and went back to bed. So out of her crate she can sleep for 3+ hours. In her crate 1:15... I think she is boycotting.
She is definantly growing. Last night she wanted to play in the "pool" that we have for Bo in the backyard. It was nasty so I told her to wait and I would clean and fill with clean water. In the process of me getting the hose to rinse it out - she dunks herself over the edge and is all wet with nasty water... Nice...

Hubby is at a conference all this week so he is doing his own eating (I don't send anything since he won't eat it). Yesterday he told me I had a chocolate chip muffin from the breakfast they served - but I only had 1. For lunch they had a buffett so he had little scoops of numerous things but again stated I had 1 plate. Go Honey!!! Tonight is class for him.
I have a marinated chicken breast in the oven for lunch and dinner. I am hoping to cut it up for salads or I bought WW tortillas yesterday and might make a wrap. :)

Run was ok - at the 1.75 mile mark the hip just wanted to stop working - it was like dead weight so I took two walk breaks during that last 3/4 mile to try to loosen it up. Time is included in run time above. Have to start counting it - I can't stop the clock on the half.
Too many clothes - 3/4 length yoga pants, long sleeve shirt and short sleeve shirt - it felt cool but it wasn't THAT cool.
66*, 88% humidity and Winds NNW @ 15 mph. The wind was actually nice since it cooled me off when it came.
Went to bed about 10 - lucy slept until 12:30 which I figured since she crashed early about 8 and went back to sleep after we did pottys before bed instead of playing like usual. 2:40 hubby started snoring bad and Bo hit the chair in the LR and woke Lucy up so outside and then back awake at 445. She was just falling asleep when hubby's alarm went off at 545. Hoping to catch a quick nap now that hubby is gone, out to run 2.5 (it is nice and cool this am) and then off to the grocery store before work.
Todays meals - quinoa stuffed portobello mushrooms and a nice sirlion steak. :)
