And that my friend is why my legs were saying "Holy Shit what are you doing to us"... Legs were hurting after 2 miles. Stopped at home, got some gatorade and some water and finished up.

74* and 89% humidity. Winds: SSW @ 4mph (nothing felt).

 

Now off to give blood. The blood bank calls and asked me to give. I am the universal donor so I like to give when I can. And they give you free stuff. first time - free t-shirt, then a free car scrapper with a mitt to cover your hand, last time was an insulated coffee mug.  This time.... 2 free tickets to Redhawks Baseball (farm team for the astros here in OKC), 2 free tickets to the zoo and a zoo t-shirt. I give because I can... but the free stuff is nice. :)

UTI (what we expected), looks like the 2 "incidents" that have happened lately were seizures. Her RBC is low, but they want to re-check in 10 days since it might be related to the UTI. But no clear answer to why she might be having seizures. :( Just out of sorts right now.   Need to get a run in later - maybe it will help. It will be on the TM since the day is PACKED.

off to the vet with Sammie (oldest, black lab) - I haven't liked things I have seen in the last week - hoping it isn't bad...

Another Lazy day at home. First weekend in a long time that we didn't make a trip into the "city". 

Went down the road to the casino for breakfast (eggs, hash brown, toast) :) and then a lazy day ended with a bike ride.

Garmin didn't want to load the satellites this evening so I did this by songs on my mp3. The first time I added this I did this run in 22:24 so I added the song before it, don't think I listened to it but it is very similar to the one behind it and there is no way I did this run in 22 min.

Neighbor J's birthday party last night was fun, took a dip in their pool and had 2 or 3 more glasses of wine then I should have.. Needless to say we got home at 9 and Lucy had been in her crate all evening - while she didn't have a problem going to bed she though 3am was time to get up and stay up this morning. Couldn't drag my butt off the couch to go run so I had to go this evening - 6:00pm was still 90*. Guess I shouldn't have had too much wine.

Did 3 laps - stopped for a bit of gatoraide and water (too much since it sat like a rock for the last 1/2 mile). Did it and was good to go.

Weather: 90*

Humidity: 69%

Wind: S @ 17 gusting to 24.

Wind helped the heat not feel sooo bad but it was a headwind on the only "downhill" section of the lap.
