Time to Find the Big Girl Panties..and Suck it up!

Sunday - June 9

Took the day off and spent it with hubby. A little shopping at Bass Pro, lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, a short nap and then out on the boat. What a lovely day. :)

2:10 wall sit

Crappy night of sleep. Bo thought he would wake me at least twice to make sure I was still breathing. Yep still here. Hubby got up at 530 to fish with a friend. So it is now 6:41am and I am headed to try to do 4. This should be fun. :|

So I told myself I wasn't going to worry about time needed to up my mileage but I still wore the garmin (need to do 6 laps around the 'hood) so I didn't need it but wore it and then hit lap at the end of each one (yeah not keeping track of time).

Told myself I could stop for fuel and water after lap 3 but felt good so I kept going. Stopped at the end of mile 5 since I had gotten a pretty big rock in my shoe that I could feel with each step. Grabbed some water and the rest of the pack of sport beans and then finished the last lap. Didn't want to stop but didn't want the rock to scrape at the back of my heal any longer.

Banana, water, 1/2 pk of sport beans before, 1/2 pk of sport beans and water after lap 5. Could have pushed a bit harder but working my way up. Need to be smart and stay un-injured this year.

Friday - June 7

Took the day off. Have the neighbor's three chocolates here and we don't leave much when they are here - they tend to "christen" the place and not in a good way when they come to visit - think it is a boy thing. Legs needed it - they are tired and sore yet. 4 miles tomorrow.

2 mile run on tap today with another try at 4 on Saturday. Sore today from knees to shoulders. Should make for an interesting run.

Tuesday - June 4

Training plan had 3 miles on tap today - but 4 this Saturday and then up to 4.5 in a week so I did 5 laps around the hood - 3.30. :) Busy day at work, downpour rain and thunder this am, so this was the first time I got to get out to run - 82*, sun and humid.

Monday - June 3

Spent 8 hours in a car today and my back and hips are hurting. Did my wall sit after unpacking and calling it a day.

1:05.38 for wall sit today.
