This was hard - single track true trail running. Places of 6-8% grade that we walked, places where the roots were so bad on the trail we watched to save twisting an ankle.

72 when we got to the park - first 3.14 in 33:20. Mary had to stop at 1/2 the loop to use a porta potty so I met her at the truck. Got fluids and shot blocks (need chomps or anything with caffiene) while I waited, she got a sm amt of water and then off we went to finish. She fell back but I kept going. Finished with about a mile walk at the end that I didn't time. Felt good. :) About 4 min better than the same distance same loop as last week. Not to shower and go with Lucy to the vet.

Since I missed Tuesday due to life getting in the way - I pushed Tuesday's run to Wed and was going to skip Wed's bike. Legs were a bit sore tonight so I decided to bike and skip today's 2 mile run. Friend wanted me to try to up my bike on the trainer from 30 to 45 min. After 30 min the sun had started to go down and wasn't so hot and I was egging to run. So bike, run, bike brick was born.

30 min bike, 2 mile run, 15 min bike and I am caught up on workouts for this week. Will bike tomorrow, run 5.5 on Saturday and then travel and rest on Sunday (maybe a walk will see). I would be stoked to do 5.5 at 10:30 pace this weekend. Would be nice to break an hour. :)
