Beautiful day.  I was rather slow for no particular reason that I can see.  I should have been rested since I took the weekend off.  I was pretty steady out and back.  Less wind than last week.  I don't know.

I slacked off a bit  last week--four runs, no weights.  I should have gone to the fitness center on Wed.  I just played on BT during lunch.  I could have run on Sunday morning since we did not go into La Follette to church but I vacuumed and talked to the dock guy instead.  We had to leave at noon to get to Cleveland to take care of the mommies so there was not much time.  Sundays are not rest days.

EGCR Access Road.

Cloudy and getting cooler. I tried to maintain tempo and hold a higher speed.  Turned out to be slower than Monday.

Plan on cleaning out the garage tonight and going to the dump tomorrow morning.  May not get another run in until Sunday.

First really spring day--69 degrees, sunny, puffy clouds.  The wind picked up at mile 3 blowing straight into my face and I slowed down.  I think I am doing well.  Not too tired each day, just a little.

Last night was a blustery thunderstorm with lightning and some hail.  Very much like spring.

Eating was light yesterday. I hope to lose a pound this week.

I didn't expect to be below the weight trend line quite so soon, but I'll take it.

EGCR Access Road. A monotonous routine. Having a high threshhold for boredom makes it easier to see progress or the lack thereof.

Not too bad on weight for a Tuesday after traveling.  I think I will run again today.  I need to start bringing the bike into work for a lunchtime ride.  It is looking like spring weather.

Spring is the time for wind in East TN.  Today was just a ripping wind.  Normally, I don't notice a following wind while running.  Today, it nearly blew me over.  That was on the way out.  I turned around into it and just plodded along into the wind.  I might have pushed too hard if I tried to maintain pace into the wind.

Took a picture of the dock steps this evening.  The water level will be up to the top of the rip-rap at full pool. The level is at the winter minimum right now.

Our house is the one on the right.

Here is the new concrete driveway.  The Mini made it down for the second time and back up on its own for the first time tonight.
