wow, sure glad work kept me busy until the afternoon so it was nice and hot when I went for my run. You all caught the sarcasm in that right? I was running a pretty good pace and I knew I was going too fast for the heat but just couldn't bring myself to slow down...but my body eventually did that for me

Legs & Back - 58:56
Almost forgot to log my workout. Didn't do the Ab Ripper X (again) as I was short on time and had an early meeting. I of course was short on time cause I was diking around
Tina leaves today for her annual vacation with her friends. So a week with just me and the pets partying up. Too bad she didn't plan it for when I was on call, which is coming up shortly. Hopefully the truck doesn't give me any issues while she is gone cause she is flying out of Tucson (booked before we moved) and that is where the car will be.
Tina got two pictures of us developed from two separate vacations. We are each wearing the same shirt in both and both are the same colour. It's kind of funny. And I am even wearing the same shorts.
So watching the live xray of me swallowing was pretty cool actually. The stuff to swallow wasn't awesome but wasn't horrible. But, I have a perfect swallow. So scope and xray is clear. Hum....
As a Canadian it is tough to live in the states during the Olypmics. You probably think it is cause I get tired of seeing only American athletes and never any Canadians eh? Well, no, it is cause in Canada they show shit LIVE.

Knee bugging me much more now. I have expanded my search for a medical professional to the Phoenix area. Just crap all out here in Payson
OMG I am so tired. The night before Breyer woke us up with a puking episode and then last night the slowest moving storm ever just sat over Payson all night. Lighting and thunder were almost simultaneous. It was so stinking loud. And I wear earplugs. I am sure that is the longest and loudest storm I have been through. Probably extra loud due to being in the mountains maybe? Still raining this morning. We need the rain though so not going to complain about that part. A house on the way to Tina's work burned down last week due to a lightening strike. Sad
So the truck self corrected itself again and no repair needed. Mechanic said it might have been dirt or a sensor part might be going bad. If it is the sensor that is not so bad a replacement. And the truck didn't shift out of second cause it put itself into limp mode, but was fine when I went to the shop. So he took it out for a drive while hooked up and read to make sure it was shifting, cleared the code and sent me on my way. But while I was talking to him I noticed a screw in my tire so stopped to get that hauled on the way home. Did not get all the way into the tire so no repair needed. anyways, the truck is annoying me enough that I am going to start to look for a new vehicle. I think Durango is at the top of the list, with Silverado maybe next, but I'll do some driving. Has to be able to haul my camper through the mountains.
Then I went to the dr over my swallowing issue cause everyone made me and they scoped me. I knew they would. grrr. Nothing found, so off to the hospital for an xray while I swallow some crap.
But on a good note, banana pancakes with PB. Yummy.

No idea how long I worked out. it is cut back week in P90X so decided to do my PN workouts instead. i jumped rope after that. Sweating like a pig (do pigs sweat?) as it is super humid in Payson after the massive storm that went through last night
Off to Scottsdale this morning to get my knee checked out. Sure hope they can identify the issue, and even better fix it. Even better better tell me I can still run.
Good news, appears to be a muscular issue. Apparently I have weak hamstrings. I always knew that though but I think not biking is causing the quads to become even stronger, forcing the imbalance even more. The PT person said I am very flexible as well, which means that I need extra strength to make up for that flexibility. P90X doesn't really have any hamstring isolation in it, it is mostly squats and lunges. So, I am going to stop P90X and focus on a different type of workout, and do some PT specific to the imbalance on top of that. And maybe this will be the thing I need to get out on the mountain bike more often. Um, I mean simply get out on the mountain bike...
