This ride kind of sucked. Horrible trail. I thought it was going to be better but not really possible to get into the flow of anything. Lots of climbing. But hey, I biked... Knee felt better this bike round. The PT lady did say that the knee should come around quickly. She wasn't kidding apparently

PN, some PT, and jump rope

I haven't gotten my bills for my medical procedures yet but I know what they are and they are fucking ridiculous is what they are.  I knew they wouldn't find shit all cause it is so sporadic but everyone was forcing me to go anyways.  Yeah, well, you all can pay my f'ing bills.  I am never listening to anyone again as this is not the first time I was talked into the dr's and did nothing but waste money.  Don't get me wrong, I am glad Tina and my friends care so much, but I know my body better then all of them.

Knee pain already much better.  Not 100% but I can stand up from a sitting position without pain now.  Glad for that.

Pretty good run. Just the usual, down to the park and back. Staying off the harder trails until my knee is 100%.

A new month.  Lets see if I can fill it up with some runs and bikes and some strength training.  Yeah, that's right, I said bikes.  Course I go on back up on call this coming weekend and on call the following...  So that's a bit of a cramp in the plan

Look at me out on the bike. Dicking around on the mountain bike, just sticking to the trails close to home. Still tentative on the bike but noticed I was attacking on the uphill and only had issues on the downhill. I can build into that. Knee actually hurt a lot biking but was told that I did not have to hold back so all is well. I have a fairly high pain tolerance so it's all good

No idea how long I worked out. it is cut back week in P90X so decided to do my PN workouts instead. i jumped rope after that. Sweating like a pig (do pigs sweat?) as it is super humid in Payson after the massive storm that went through last night

Off to Scottsdale this morning to get my knee checked out.  Sure hope they can identify the issue, and even better fix it.  Even better better tell me I can still run.

Good news, appears to be a muscular issue.  Apparently I have weak hamstrings.  I always knew that though but I think not biking is causing the quads to become even stronger, forcing the imbalance even more.   The PT person said I am very flexible as well, which means that I need extra strength to make up for that flexibility.   P90X doesn't really have any hamstring isolation in it, it is mostly squats and lunges.  So, I am going to stop P90X and focus on a different type of workout, and do some PT specific to the imbalance on top of that.  And maybe this will be the thing I need to get out on the mountain bike more often.  Um, I mean simply get out on the mountain bike...

I might do this weird thing and take a day off.  I want to run but god knows I shouldn't be running until I find out what's up with me knee.

wow, sure glad work kept me busy until the afternoon so it was nice and hot when I went for my run. You all caught the sarcasm in that right? I was running a pretty good pace and I knew I was going too fast for the heat but just couldn't bring myself to slow down...but my body eventually did that for me

Watching Canada play Russia in basketball.  Happy to see my country play and my favorite sport at that.  They even have a Kim Smith
