Supposed to be an hour but ended up being 45 min. I got bored. Threw in some breaststroke along with the free and even included some butterfly.
August 19
Had to change workout back to where it was originally - a 45 min ride, 4.5 mile run. I changed my workout this morning to a long run, which was supposed to be on Thursday, but did not plan on this the night before and had some serious GI issues. The pizza last night took a big toll on my stomach. I will make sure to eat better tonight and tomorrow. I might try to get in a swim a little later if I feel any better. We'll see how it goes.

I said I wasn't going to let my race interfere with my workout the following day and it didn't. My plan called for a run bike run. I got in all three. I walked the last .2 during the second run. I was just getting too hot. Legs could have made it, but my core temp was way up there. I felt good throughout and even felt strong on the bike at times even after pushing it hard yesterday. Overall, I am very satisfied with my workout.
