Yuck. What a brutal run. My legs just did NOT have anything in them today. Ended up running 5 outside and came in to do the last one on the treadmill. The wind out there was brutal again, but I somehow managed negative splits INTO the wind. Not sure how, but I did.

May well have been my toughest workout of the year. Tempo run in the wind today. First 2.5 with the wind at my back, next mile quartering it, then 2.5 back driving straight into it, and it was a KILLER wind out here on the tundra today. Tried to keep my splits as even as possible.

Really tough to finish this one off. REALLY starting to hate that treadmill. I think I'm off it now except for hill workouts when I can't make it to the hills (which will probably be most weeks).
Anyways, if to hit a 3:45 mary, I've gotta run 8:10s all the way thru with walk breaks, I don't think I'm going to make it. Time will tell, I guess, but 3.5 seemed rediculously difficult today, never mind 23 more. Might have to re-evaluate my time goal.
Damn, I seemed faster last year! That pace never seemed to be a problem.
Ran 2 zone 1 miles with Morgan tonight. 22:13 total, which was TONS better than the last time I took her out running. She done great!
Ok... time for me to start my own personal 52 day challenge. My weight has not moved much at all over the past few months... hovering between 212 and 214. that's gotta change if I want to pretend I'm in any kind of shape other than round.
I'm going to begin next Monday. 100 clean eats. 5 cardios (runs) a week, and 2 lifts a week. I'll do the math later, but I just wanted to get it out there in writing so I wouldn't weasel out. Ultimate goal is to get the weight back below 200lbs. Also, at least 200 pushups a week.
