Little run at race pace to get everything moving before tomorrow's big day. Mostly RPE 4.
HRM was all over the place again. It tells me that my avg HR for the first 10min was 130 which is clearly too good to be true and the last 5min was at 215 bpm... as far as I can tell, I am not morphing into an hamster. The thing probably just need a new battery.
I am f***ing skinny! I have been at that weight a couple of times, but never close to being that lean. I'd be really curious to know my body fat %. I obviously can't outswim, outbike or outrun Craig Alexander, but I'm pretty sure I would offer decent competition in terms of being leaner he he. Not sure that is a good thing! lol

So it's more than likely that we'll run in the rain on sunday. I think most of my races this year will have been in poor weather condition. I can handle this! My right knee has been bothering me for the last 10 days or so, it feels very much like the runner knee I had last year. I think my recovery after the Du plus was too short and caused that thing. Nothing that would keep me away from racing but right now I put the odds at about 50% that the knee will be trashed after sunday's marathon. That would probably keep me away from any kind of significant running volume for several weeks. That would be fine with me since I consider this race my end of season... I guess I'm just a bit anxious as to how bad it will be after the race. Anyways, off season will be there and I will have plenty of time to take care of that. Thanks for listening/reading :)

Because it's important to learn something every day... today I learned that it's possible to get a ticket for crossing the street on a red light... ON FOOT!! 37$ worth of Gu, Gatorade and CO2 that I will never get back!!! ... Sadness

The quads are still on fire today! The worse thing I could be asked would be to go upstairs or downstairs! If you put me on a leg press today, I am not sure I could do 10 pounds. lol
