45min of tempo work (RPE 4-5) + wu & cd
Tempo speed avg was between 33 & 33.5 kph. Knee felt ok.
I have a cold showing up slowly so I figured I would kill it with a little ride ;) For the first time since the marathon, the legs felt like they had something to give... so I took. It felt good to know I can still generate some speed.

Short easy run. Had some stifness in the R hamstring and calf in the second half. Probably related to the knee issue.

I just hit the 1000 km milestone for the first time!! Yes, I made today's run a little longer on purpose ;) 18 months ago, running was barely part of my vocabulary and I was struggling to finish a 3k continuous run on a threadmill. Consistent training can bring surprising results!!

Fun ride on the Nuns Island/Ste-Catherine bike path.
R knee was an annoyance for about 10 minutes at the beginning of the ride.

Will schedule an appointment with the PT on monday. Just to make sure I'm not screwing things up by keeping some running volume.

RPE 4 steay run
I thought I ran faster than that.
HR data was f*cked up
After thinking about the knee issue for a while, I realized my work shoes could be contributing to the problem as I walk with them A LOT and they are getting quite old. In fact, I think they have more mileage than any of my running shoes... by far.
