Asti de long ride DE MARDE

  • ..qui s'est terminée par un 45$ de taxi. 2 flats sur mon pneu avant sans trou dedans... pneu neuf et corrompu? Probablement.

  • À pis tant qu'à y être... ya un pit stop qui m'a chié dans les mains au lieu de faire sa job et j'emmerde profondément les deux dudes qui m'ont regardé crisser après mon bike les bras croisés pendant 15 minutes à 150 pieds d'où j'étais sans bouger le petit doigt. Va te faire cuire bagel ou regarde ailleurs! Pis pour en rajouter une autre couche, le tab$%?* de taxi a pris genre 45min avant d'arriver.

    Demain sera un jour meilleur, m'en va faire un peu de tai chi, j'en ai besoin!

    VERY happy with that bike ride. Well paced. Half way in I started playing sling shot with 4-5 other guys and I clearly couldn't get away from them. It was good motivation and I felt I could get them out of T2 so I didn't spend useless energy there.

    Happy about that one too. I felt good right off the bat. Sure enough, in the first 500m I passed 4 guys that I had been fighting with. One other was just too strong for me. Got smoked in a sprint finish... the other guy was in a relay team! :)

    Moral of the story, a good balance between the two sports (which I have mucho improved) and not starting like a crazy mother f***er pays big time, especially when the heat comes into play like today!  For the three legs I did 39th, 29th and 23rd...  and I finished 24th! I'm also happy about that placing since A LOT of good triathletes use this event to start their season. We even had a pro women in the field.
