5k run on treadmill. Trying to push my pace on the treadmill so I can get my 5k below 28 min (my goal for the year!!).
Need to run, maybe swim tonight. Really want to ride my new bike instead, but plan to ride a lot in Vail/Breckenridge this weekend, so need to get my swim and run workouts in...

Swam at the pool for the first time in over a month. Felt like open water swimming so much had kind of made my stroke go to crap, so did a lot of drills and swam with the paddles a bit. 500 warmup, 4x150 (50 kick, 50 pull/drill, 50 swim), 8x25 on 0:30, 200 swim, 100 kick, 100 pull, 100 kick, 100 w/paddles, 100 cooldown.
Just bought a new bike at lunch - WOOHOO!!! Tirreno Razza 3.0 (Perf. Bike brand) - carbon fork and seat post and all 105 components for $650 after 20% discount. Figured I couldn't beat that price for a bike with 105 components, and it weighs about 10 lbs. less than the bike I've been riding so I'm thrilled :) Need to swim at the pool tonight, but I think I'm also gonna have to squeeze in a short bike ride!

5k run in neighborhood after work. Felt sluggish but my GPS told me I was running an 8:50 pace for the first 2 miles - I was convinced it had to be wrong because I NEVER run less than 9 minute miles!!! Makes me feel better about my 28 minute 5k goal for this year - maybe I'll actually make it :)
Plan to run at least 3 miles after work.

Biked from campground in East Vail halfway up Vail Pass. 1000 ft elevation gain - ugh!!! Wish I could've made it up the whole thing, but it was getting dark so we turned around.
