The usual PT for my foot. Did a bunch of new exercises, and learned that the muscles in my injured foot are way weaker than the ones in my right foot when I tried to do balancing.

Bike or swim tonight depending on when I get out of work. Okay, maybe not. Started painting and spaced out - it was 10 pm before I looked at the clock. Wasn't feeling motivated to ride on the trainer, so I bailed on the workout... At least the painting I'm working on looks good :)
This week is going to be insane - don't know when I'm going to fit in my workouts the next few days. Looks like I might be spending lots of time on the trainer :( This is when I wish I could run - it's so easy to lace up the running shoes and go for a half hour jog when things are busy - not so easy with the swim and bike. Hoping PT will get my foot back into shape so I can start running again next week...

Volunteered as a swim angel at Tri for the Cure - had a good time. I was in the water for about 2 hours - made 2 loops of the swim course in that time. Not really a workout, but I did do the distance so I might as well log it...
Had to talk one girl into doing the swim - she was ready to head for shore after the first 100 yds, but she made it through the whole thing! I was a little bit surprised at how ill-prepared some women are for the swim - there were some women that I don't think would have made it without kayakers/swim angels to hang on to. Anyhow, it was nice just to go to a race to help out for once =)

First pool swim in a long time - figured since my next tri is in a pool, I should put in some pool time. Stroke felt good, times were NOT so good. Need to swim more!!

PT for my foot. The usual painful soft tissue work, then more exercises. Ran in place attached to a bungee - foot felt good the whole time - woohoo!! Have orders to try to do a short run on Saturday/Monday - yay!
