Started the BT Abs challenge today, even though it doesn't "officially" start until Sunday, holy kick my buutt!.

Its an Off day per the TP so I'm sticking to it as the next 4 weeks are going to be tough.

Awesome early evening Z2-Z4 run with business partner before our conference call. He likes to go out fast so it forced me into a harded than usual run and I liked it! Had a direct on 10-15 mph headwind on the 1.3 mile SE leg, holy hard. But on the retun it was eay to run but hard to stay cool. Was a moderate warm day upper 70 & RH.

OK, I have a lot of work to do today, real work and some BT challenges work!  Oh why do I do it...I have my running gear to get in a run workout today.  And since I'm not running Sat race I'm going to do a long run to get a good head start on this March Tri-sport challenge, yikes, I went for a 100% goal vs the training plan. Tongue out

AM MTB into work with 5.2 miles on Wickham Park trails. Took a while to get into the trail ride mode, front tire went out from under me twice in the 1st 0.5m due to the sand being really soft (no rain) and it took me awhile to trust my skills! Had one really good endo too when I hit a tree trunk hidden by a small palmetto.

PM will be a quick ride home and is reflected in the totals already.

Stick a fork in me I'm done, with the Feb Bike-Run challenge that is!

Saturday's 10k race is OFF :(  Wife has to go out of town for her required continuing Ed for being a teacher and my mother is not feeling well with her arthritis.  I guess I'll take the kido's out somewhere special Saturday, hmmm...

Ack, its morning & coffee isn't working, yet! Late work night last night and I have a headache this AM.  Kids are off to school and now it's time I go swim...and I'm at work, felt so "bad" this AM is skipped the pool.  Have all my gear so we'll see what today brings.

Long run AM. Went to Wickham park did a lap on the paved park road then did the East and North outer trails, then back home. Warmest run day in a long time, ~70F with plenty of RH. Consumed 21 oz H2O on the run. With music, not sure I like getting hooked on using the MP3 player for these AM runs!

Doing Did a long run this am before work that I should have done yesterday and will close out the Feb challenge run portion.  I really should be at the pool but will shift this weeks workout over 1 day instead.  This is a quasi recovery/taper week for the Sat 10k run, which I've always wanted to run.  Weather forecast today is looking 50/50 for Sat so we'll see cloudy & coolish but humid for Sat AM.
