MTB ride into work after dropping the car off to get the windows tinted. Took the longer way around the airport. Nice an chilly this AM but warmed up nicely by the time I rode, had to take off the outer layer.

Oh, BTW, the pre-Halloween candy consumed is up to 4 peices Surprised! 2 Snickers, Milky way and a 3 Musk... more to come I'm sure!

Coldest day so far this fall, we set a record low today, 44F! Walked the dog when the AC system T-stat said it was 49F and then ran when it said it was 52F. Found my thin gloves, put on the long sleeve shirt over my tri-suit and hat and off I went. Decided it was a good idea to run with the wind for the 1st half then into when I "warmed up"! Stood in the backyard pool for 8 min afterward, it's already at 64F, gotta love that!

Tuesday - October 28

Had a dental appoint to reset the temp crown, ugh, and moved up the appointment to put on the permanent crown.

Went to the Y amd swam/played around with my son in the exercise pool while my daughter had swim practice.  He taught me how to do butterfly, pretty cool eh!  Couldn't go more than 15 yards at a time but it's a start.  Also found out that I don't "kick properly" during breast Surprised!

Did it. Was only 67F out when I started and the pace above was very surprising. Gotta love the cooler and drier air. Really didn't feel like I was running that fast. I really should start wearing the HRM again now that the heat and humidity is not such and issue.

I've come to the realization that I simply cannot plan any training for the weekends, at least not now.  So that means I have to revamp my training plan...

Saw the UF vs Kentucky game on Sat (say blowout). Went up to the game with a freind that has season tickets and we brought along our son's.  We painted their heads half orange and half blue, chick magnetics!
