Ok, THAT was hard! Ran the ridge by my mothers house. 0.7mi warm-up then it was up 675' over next 2.1 miles. Then back down over the next 1.3 miles where 3/4 of that was a dirt road. Walked for a bit during the ascent where angle was ~17% for about 0.2 miles, thought my heart was going to blow, then again during the descent where footing got pretty bad on a real steep part. Ran the back way into the neighborhood and pushed the last rolling part because it felt so easy. Wished I had a HRM for this run!

Nice morning run in Central NY. Cool, breezy, and HILLY (rolling hills) course throughout the White Pines Village.

Left knee is acting up again, felt it throughout the run.  Lots of stretching with bent knee last nice wasn't good for it.  I need to have this looked at by a sports doc.

 

Going to be a tiring day.  DID NOT sleep well last night in my mom's new gel top bed.  Felt great when sleeping on my back but I need it softer for my shoulders when side sleeping.

Part of today's course, the Low Lands, up hill in either direction I made sure to run it in reverse!
