Long run...nice and easy. Got that abdominal cramp around 5.75 miles, but was able to massage it out for the last mile home. Must be a fitness thing? In any case, it sucks and it hurts... longest run in quite awhile, felt good to get back to it!

ARRGH!! Stopped by the wheel place to see if my wheels were in... they were!!! I was in Kati's car, so they told me to run home and get mine and they'd get them on for me today!! Woot! As we pulled in the driveway, they called me... turns out that one of the four was in the right box, but it was the wrong wheel... the guy was sooooo apologetic and he doesn't know if he'll be able to find another :(. He'll call around on Monday... but he says they look fantastic!! I don't WANT to pick out other wheels, those are the ones I want, waaah waah! Guess I'll find out more on Monday....

Nice and cool this morning... I was expecting suckage after pushing on the bike yesterday, but it was actually a great run! Legs felt smooth and strong, pushed the pace just a little and HR is not too far out of the zone, so I'll take it!

Spinervals, Time Saver Workout #1
-----
Lots of rain this afternoon, checked the radar, looked like it COULD be clear for a ride outside, but roads were still damp, still rain in the vicinity so decided not to chance it. So I thought I'd just do a nice "Time Saver" workout... OMG, it was *F*'n hard!! Intense intervals... good workout!

Well, I certainly didn't FEEL like I was running this slow, just kept it steady. An unleashed dog ran out at me coming up to the 2 mile mark, very pit bull looking. Kind of jumped at me, but not threatening and then it ran with me for over a mile! There was a lady out walking, I thought it was her dog, I guess not. It was kind of funny... Cooler temps this morning, but oh, so, humid, ugh.

Well, it's turning into a pretty good day! First it's raining and we really need it, plus it means a free movie day for me! Also means no outside bike riding, so will probably do another killer Spinervals dvd this afternoon (or not!). My bike rack is in and I get to go pick it up today, AND the new job I want finally posted and my application is in! Now if only I would get a call on my wheels!

Got home a ready to change and hit the bike, but checked the weather first. Not good, big line of thunderstorms headed our way, and a severe thunderstorm watch till 11 p.m. Decided not to chance it and hit the trainer instead. "Spinervals: Suffer-O-Rama" and it WAS! But man I have come a long ways since January when I first started doing these!! Happy with that speed for the trainer, and was able to do almost all of the standing sets and there were a bunch. Pushed it hard, sweat a LOT!

Saw this beautiful mama cow on my ride today. Looped back around to take her picture.
