My legs were feeling pretty dead today. Stayed up late watching KD and the Thunder beat the Heat in game 1 of the playoffs (I normally don't watch too much NBA basketball...but am cheering for OKC). My legs felt a bit better the last few miles. I'll most likely get another workout in this evening with Megan at the Y.

PM - Weights
Met up with Megan once again at the Y. I was feeling pretty worn out, but mustered up enough energy for 30 minutes on the ARC trainer, then another 10 walking on the treadmill, followed with some weights.

The temps felt a bit cooler when I finally made it out for my run today. I made my way to the big hill at SCP for a mile of repeats, then headed home. I felt okay, but aren't sure if my foot likes the incline. The plan is to get part 2 of the workout this evening with Megan at the Y.
Ended up going to the Y with Megan when she got off work. Got in 20 minutes on the stairstepper and then another 20 on the elliptical.

Decided to stay inside today and ride on the trainer. My legs were feeling ok after yesterday's long run and last night's barefoot touch football game, but the soles of my feet were pretty tender from the sticker patch I accidentally ran through....I think there are still some spliters stuck in there irritating the area.

Today's run was my longest since the 100K at the end of April. I'm still easing into the miles attempting to avoid any of the injuries from popping back up. It was a little warm and sticky, but thankfully I had Megan on her cruiser to keep me company. After the run I stuck my legs into the refreshingly cool pool back home.

Since Megan will be gone this weekend, I decided to go ahead and get my long run in this morning. I petty much just stuck to SCP and the Rolling Hills area neighborhoods. I felt decent, a little tired toward the end when I ran out of water. I tried to stick to my ultra race plan while running today. I stuck my legs in the pool when I got home. I'll either take tomorrow off or sneak in a few miles on the P. WYCO course while in the area.
