Fast spin class
Finally got my long swim in. Two TT. Bloody and gory.
500 WU 11:15 - use this as my TT
8 x 25 31-33
5 x 100 2:12-2:17
500 TT: 11:46
100 easy swim
5 x 100 2:21-2:33
400 TT: 9:56
200 easy swim
100 backstroke cool down
Anxiety about work, life, love kept me up. My stomach was really churning. Wanted to go to spin at 5:30 but there was no way. The alarm went off at 4:15 and I couldn't get up. :( God this is getting a little pathetic. Will swim and bike after work. It's daylight savings time right? :)
Things have been a little hectic at casa de Ovetta. Putting on this triathlon camp isn't as easy as I thought and I haven't even started with the actual kiddos. :) But it's been fun. Quite frankly it's been the only thing of substance I've done in months and it's been really wonderful how God has been working in it all. It's been so wonderful and to Him I give all the glory. I just have to remember why I am here, why I was created. To give honor and glory to him. To honor him in everyway in what I do and how I do it. This has really been a time for growth for me and I'd like to come out on the other side a better person without acrimony or animosity. I am praying for a situation that will allow me to use my God-given passion and keep my quirky, eccentric, extroverted personality without muting myself or running rough shod over others. I can't help it if I have an aggressive personality. I need a place where that type of personality is valued and necessary and not looked upon as strange or out of place. So I'm committed to taming that part of myself only so that others don't feel shut out or shut out. But still maintaining my gregariousness. Ugggh. It's been a tough couple of months. I pray that a window is opened soon.
Either way I got to put this stuff behind me otherwise I'm not going to cross the finish line at IMCdA. That's my top priority right now and I need to get my head in the game!

This was supposed to be a 45 miler on the tri bike but I didn't want to chance it so took the MTB out and went for a 3-hr ride on it. I covered 30 miles but it all evens out! :)
This was the farthest I've been on my MTB since the accident in August. I was a chicken on some of the downhills, still traumatic for me since the accident but did all the up hills! :)
Really felt good on this ride. No cramping. Tried PB&J and decided it's my solid miracle food. I know that I can't make it on just liquid for the entire 112 mile ride so I'm trying different nutriton. This seemed to work. I'll try it out again.
Right off the bike. Boy I forgot how that felt! :) Good news is the shock didn't last long. I was in the groove by 3 minutes into it.

Ugh. Never run a 10-miler with a hangover. It just ain't right. Started out OK but by mile 6 I was cramping from the dehydration and I ran out of fluid and had no nutrition. Started walking by mile 8. Ran into a friend on his bike and he gave me water to drink. But I think I probably walked the last 1.5. Ugggh.

This was tough. My feet were draggin like an old woman on Sunday. I think it was because I got home last night dead tired and only ate an english muffin with some chicken. Woke up hungry which means I didn't eat enough. This was also on the treadmill because it was freakin' 14 degrees this morning. Uggggh. Too lazy to run in the cold. I started at 5 mph which was good for me and held it for 30 min then had to back off. My legs just complete wore out. Crazy how I can go faster outside than I can on the treadmill. I think it's because I get bursts of speed outside and not have to be superfast all the time like you do on the treadmill.
Drainer ride. Watched The Wire Season Two Espisode 1. Love that freakin' show.

Took Tony the beast! My God that dude has the cadence of Lance Armstrong. His feet were moving so fast my eyes couldn't see them! This was a great fast climbing workout which means high resistence high cadence clocked us at 90-120 rpm. Crazy man.

Daylight savings time sucks. Had to wait until about 7 a.m. to comfortably run. Oh well. Here's the break down:

3 x 1 mile interval at track with 4 min job in between - Breakdown:
