Super busy day, getting camping gear and boats ready for a camping / kayaking weekend on the Gulf Coast at Pensacola. My brother is flying in, haven't seem him in months, so excited! Probably will not be checking back in until next Wednesday, have a fun weekend y'all!

Didn't really have a plan for the swim today, just wanted to get in a long set and get it timed for a benchmark, pretty slow, 1450 yds at 40.08 minutes, but for me that's not too bad. I was purposely swimming easy. Set a new benchmark for my 100 at 2:12 for this I was swimming hard, but not all out, previously it was 2:20. Not a bad day.

My longest ride yet! Rode from my house today. Felt good and strong this morning, threw in some extra nutrition good thing! Ran into my friend Bill and later on David and it turned into a longer ride than expected. Having friends along makes it so much more fun and it really is easier to forget how far you have ridden! The course in generally flat with some long rolling, but not too steep, hills. My legs are screaming at me right now, need a cold bath and some stretching!

Need to keep this up every day...

Lunch- Just an OK swim. Didn't really feel it today, form felt off for most of the workout. Just tried to go even and strong the whole time. Had a surprise visit from a friend last night... too much wine! Needless to say it was a very slow morning...

Hope to get a lunch-time swim in.
