The Running Artist- Farewell My Friends!

Recovery Run/walk combo
22.57 minutes run
1.6 miles run
The rest is walking
Skipped the bike today, felt a bit like I was pushing it with all the increased biking recently; my knee was a bit achey.
Did my hip and groin stretches, got warmed up and decided to do a run/walk combo, I will be in recovery mode for a while. Only half of the distance I did today was actual running, and there was pain for sure bit it was bearable. I have to ask my PT Doc how much of the pain might from non-use and how much might still be from damage that is still not healed. But it sure felt good to be out there getting a good sweat!

PT today, learning lots of new stretches and can't imagine ever running again without them! I felt amazingly OK after yesterday's mini run workout and now have the OK to start on some easy, absolutely flat, run/walk workouts.
So here I am back at the beginning, again. But happy none-the-less!

General all over, with some extra attention paid to legs and core.
I RAN TODAY! It was only for 15 minutes within a 30 minute run/walk session and on the TM and very slow. But I did it. There is still some pain, but it seemed to get less as I loosened up. My leg was pretty spent after 30 minutes. I know it will be a very long trek back to where I was but at least I am on the right track. I have to be very careful to take it slow!

OWS
Missed the last three weeks for our group OWS, so I was not surprised that I was having a hard time on the way out, I never had to stop but I was having a hard time catching my breath a bit. The way back in was much better and I got in my grove real well.
