still feel like chit this morning. i really need to break out of this funk b/c i feel like i havent had any energy this whole week. i still think its allergies and hope it passes by tomorrow so i can log a big day of biking and running. *** got a ong nap in today. thinking i may be on the tail end of being sick. had a slight fever today and with the air clear the last 2 days its hard to imagine its allergies bothering me. was going to get a massage today but had to push off a few days due to my body being achy all over. i blame this on the germ hive i just transfered to at work. after 6yrs working with the same 8 or so people no i work in out austin call center with several hundred people coughing and sneezing on each other.

my allergies are in full swing today and i feel like trash. hope its allergies and not a viral infection. *** i need a massage in the worst way but will have to wait until monday due to halloween tomorrow and a full workout load this weekend. my hammys are constantly on the verge of knotting up on me. it will really sux by the time i get to sunday's run.

pee looks back to normal but will still consult a dr asap. legs were really sore this morning. *** saw the dr today and the pee test showed i am ok. will have some blood test done just to be sure but appears the kidneys just really took a beating on the long run yesterday. *** will take today as a much needed rest day and will hit the pool hard the next 2 mornings to get the stroke going after a week layoff.

ez spin on trainer to loosen up hammys for run later

3x 7mile loops at town lake. left hammy tender so wanted to go ez and stay under 8min pace and stay in 130s for HR. took in 350cal of infinit and 150cal gel. run was hot to start and cooled down. had some GI issues around mile 16 so made a bathroom stop and then the last 3miles was spent managing hammy cramps in both legs. had stop several times for some toe touches and was unable to open up the stride at the end like i wanted to. everything went well on the run except for the cramping that caused me not to neg split all 3 laps.

last few runs have made me realize i should probably run with my HR monitor to avoid going out to hard at AZ.

got a scare tonight after my run. after a shower i went to use the bathroom and started peeing blood. it was a faint red and there was no pain but it was blood none the less. i then ate dinner and checked again and it was still faint red. since i have no pain right now i will wait to see the dr until tomorrow. lets hope i dont have any kidney issues and this was just stress induced from my run. i do need to take this serious as i was in the hospital for a month when i was little (3yrs old i think) b/c i had neferitis (sp?) which caused my kidneys shut down. if my brother had not told my mom i was peeing coke it could have been potentially fatal if i had gone a few more days without treatment.
