killed it at dinner last night with lots of apps, full rack of ribs w/ baked tator, couple of beers and a brownie w/ ice cream. woke up last night a 2am with the meat sweats. my bed was soaked so i wandered around the house for a few minutes burping up ribs and then managed to go back to sleep. woke up this morning still full so decided to push the commute ride until tonight. will ride to tri bike home and try to go under 90mins.

Monday - July 28

slept in today. office going to dinner tonight at TX Roadhouse so will use today for rest. right achilles is tender today. *** this is a recovery week with a sprint race on sunday. bike mileage thru 3 weeks is looking good with 622 miles to date. still falling short on sleep hrs and strength hrs but getting a little better. really need to hit the weights twice a week and get a few core workouts in.

long ride this morning on the tri bike. road the dam loop and then finished with 2x 8mile loops on south mopac. legs got stronger as ride went on but left lower back pain got worse (started after 1st hr). this ride went alot quicker on the tri bike. had large bfast hr before ride (600-700cals) and then 400cal of poptarts and a gel along with 6 salt tabs and 80oz of water.
