Early morning run around Lake Padden. Actually ran the second lap as a negative split. Felt strong, but left foot was creaky sore.

Going back to work after my afternoon nap after bagging the bike ride.  Had the awful feeling of training burnout.  Maybe it's the gray drizzly July weather we have right now.  A week to go before a HIM and I'm feeling blah.

July 12

Rainy cruddy day in July.  Had to have my bi-annual CDL physical.  Everything checked out ok..Tried to talk to the doctor about how I just did an Ironman.  Think it went over her head....So I just shut up.

No Training was accomplished.

Ride out to Skagit speedway and then loop over to chuckanut drive by way of Colony road. Came back on Chuckanut . Felt good on the climbs. Bigger gears used.
