Did a final swim prep at the reopened pool (clean/painted/nice water)

Needed that confidence builder. Now to fight through the washing machine Sunday morning.
Shake down ride on the bike to maka sure everything works.
Finally an OWS at Lake Padden. Water was glassy, but then you could see all the crud floating on the surface.
Did 3 10+ minute loops. Felt ok but my imagination goes wild thinking what it's going to feel like at 1.8 miles . Will be one of the biggest mental challenges of all time. Never stop, keep the stroke going. Also will back tighten up?

Monday morning. Feeling good, back to about 95% normal from the cold. Even drank some wine last night watching two movies and Ice Truckers (crazy Canadians).
Final week of touch up. A little swim here a little run here, keep all the joints and mucles limber.
