Shake down ride on the bike to maka sure everything works.
Finally an OWS at Lake Padden. Water was glassy, but then you could see all the crud floating on the surface.
Did 3 10+ minute loops. Felt ok but my imagination goes wild thinking what it's going to feel like at 1.8 miles . Will be one of the biggest mental challenges of all time. Never stop, keep the stroke going. Also will back tighten up?
Walk the dogs at Lake Padden trails before the swim.

I'm Back after a drive back over RICHTER PASS and the ROLLERS on the way home. Had to show my wife what it was like. Of course she says it's not as bad as riding up Mt Baker. But you don't do Mt Baker after almost getting drowned and doing 40 miles of biking.
Working on RR. Had a great race. Lots of Info. IMC is a must do for any serious Ironman competitor (at least once). I would hate to do it when it's hot.
