morning walk. didn't feel like doing much this morning due to sore rearend.

Weight went down another pound.  Not feeling too bad, feet were tender this morning.  The balls of my feet and toes feel like there is no padding.

Get the steri strips taken off my power pump on my collarbone this afternoon.  Which means, I don't have to get wrapped up in plastic protecting bandages.   Now I can jump into the shower at any time.....

Afternoon walk up to Lake Padden and back.
Felt good to walk and stretch out the legs.

Took off the chemo pump yesterday, felt free and unemcumbered.   Haven't felt any of the nauseous stuff.  Maybe a little fatigue/worn out.  My weight spiked up to 211.5 on sunday and had me concerned.  Water and I had ate some high calorie muffins and homemade bean stew.

Watched tv this morning and felt blah, but finally got out to do my walk and that felt so good.  I feel like my body lost all the fitness over this last week.   Have two vials full of the anti nauseous drugs but both make you sleepy  and I'm hoping I can weather this with out medication.   hoping to get well enough to work in the coming weeks.

And this morning, my weight was back down to 206.5.  Not much appetite, I try to think of food, but nothing seems appealing.

morning walk with the dogs. went to work to sign up for the summer shift schedule. Hope I can get back to work next week.
Didn't press it this morning, since i had a terrible night sleep. and I'm carrying the power pump full of chemo.

Yesterday I had the feeling of being able to walk the local fun run.  BUT!  sitting around last evening watching baseball and computer stuff.  Got a stuffed head/head cold feeling.  So went to bed but felt very restless.  I guess the power pump noise and the Fulfox chemo made me that way.  Couldn't get my mind to stop racing and thinking about crap like the Mariners and other subjects.    Finally got some restless sleep around dawn and stayed that way till 9am.  Head was still clogged.

when I got work, chatted with some co workers about stuff.  One was telling me about his hernia surgery he had a year or so ago and the 6 months a colestomy bag....I knew he had all kinds of problems during that time.  went through a couple surgeries to correct previsous surgeries.

Anyway.  I'm not having any real nausea or what I expect or were told.   Will be able to take off tubing and pump tomorrow.

My metallic taste is somewhat gone away, taste is still somewhat off.  Hands are sensitive to cold.  Like needles and pins and if I clap my hands they tingle.  Weird.

After getting home from first Cycle of chemo, had lots of energy from the bag of steroids they pumped in.
Also walked for 20 minutes waiting for wife. not counting that though.

Took dogs for walk down the street to burn off energy.

The 5 hours at the cancer clinic were not bad.  Pretty smooth.  although now I DO have that weird taste in mouth.  And I do have the weird sensations with cold water.  Hard to discribe.  Metallic taste?

Because I feel good right now, I could do the Haggen to haggen 5K funrun walk tomorrow.  Would walk with butter and I have to carry the little side pouch with chemo pump.  So it would be a walk.   Really fired up about it right now.  Maybe I will crash tomorrow and blow it off.
