Zoe has been working on a reno project in her condo. When we got her super sized crate, we also got a super sized fleece crate pad. We kind of knew that she would de-stuff it since it is essentially a huge toy to sleep on (in her mind).  Every time we get her out, I get remove the new pile of stuffing.

The other night, she took this to a new level.  We got her out for a visit/potty run and I removed the excess stuffing, changed her water (we have small bucket hooked to the side of the crate with a caribeener), took out her toys and rotated some out for others, etc.  When she got back into her crate, which she does happily since treats are involved, there was a lot of racket.  Eventually, she settled down. When I got up the next morning, I found that she had flipped her crate pad completely over.  It was exactly in place, just upside down!  Did she get warn and want the not fleece side?  Was she smart enough to know that side would be a bit cooler?  Did she just want the black to show?

Mimosa ride. There were just four of us today -- Lisa, John, Fred Holt and myself. Fred did the bulk of the pulling but we each took turns up front.The ride actually went a lot better than I expected. John tried to kill me when we were heading back on Apex Barbecue but his evil plot didn't work.

Part of Zoe's time out of the crate/condo.  We have been getting a lot of "I'm sick of this!" from her.  She still has just over two weeks of the 23-hours in the crate thing to go before her next vet visit.  At that time, we will talk about gradually adding activity.  That will be tough because she acts like she's been shot out of a canon at times!

Waiting at the freakin' car dealer to get my freakin' recalled air bags replaced.  I received a first recall notice a while back but it also said something like "don't call us because we don't have parts." I recently received a second recall notice and I made the appointment.  When I called they said it would take 30 minutes.  When I checked in, they said 60-90 minutes.  I am not well over 90 minutes and really not very happy about it at all!

UPDATE: 120 minutes. I hate you, Takata!
