I'm pretty exhausted, mostly mentally from the classes I've been taking this week. Very intense 7 hour cram sessions each day (although I, unlike others, don't have to cram all the info in right away). Hopefully I can be good and get to bed early tonight for some rest. Half day of class/work tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

To begin, this week is a scheduled recovery week. I also have classes to attend for work to prepare for the Series 7 test. Well, today we got out of class early and thus I got to the gym early. Because or this I could either elect for a quickie swim or hang around the gym and lift for an hour and a half and killing time. I opted for the former and had great 1000m swim; perhaps the fastest 1000 I've had in recent practices. The downside was that my planned distance was short once again.

Afternoon run. The weather was just too awesome to ignore. I wore t-shirt and shorts for the first time in a long time. I was still tired and hungover from last night for this and for some reason I choose a route that had some long hill climbs for extra torture. Somehow I was able to pull out good, consistent mile splits. Perhaps my training is starting to pay off.

I noticed a ton of people outside today enjoying the weather. There must have been a lot of built up cabin fever, but it was great to see people out and about, particularly on my run. Lately I've been the only one out there on my runs.
