I showed up to the gym hoping to swim, but the pool was full. With the masters team soon to be taking over the pool anyway I opted for some strength training. I'll hit the pool after work instead.

I really miss timed this run. At the last minute I decided to head out for my run hoping to beat the line of T-storms heading our way. I got a mile in and after during a few lightning strikes it was apparent I want going to get all of my intended mileage in. I eventually made it inside just before the rain hit with the ominous clouds overhead. I probably could've done the rest on the treadmill but I let myself get talked out of that and called it a day. I really dislike the treadmill.

Did an easy test ride out to a local junior high parking lot. Practiced my transition bike dismounts there since I've been a little shaky in this area with this bike. Once I was satisfied I had it nailed down I rode home. The ride home was into a brutal head wind. Instead of fighting it I easily cruised my way home through some neighborhoods.

Participated in the annual AHA Heart Walk my wife organizes for her work. This wore me out. Our daughter didn't last too long in the stroller so I think I carried her her at least three miles.
