1:30:09  came in 417/537 was the 147th female to finish.   
Swim was great!  A little disorienting at first.  When i rounded the 1st buoy and saw the 2nd buoy, I thought, "Oh no...its that far away?"  Oookaaay.  I  settled in to a pace and just kept swimming.  I guess I came out of the water ahead of my wave.. How did that happen?  Lost some time on the bike.  Hit a head wind that really slowed me down.  Plus the whole course was slower due to rain.  Lost the most time on the run.  After mile one my left archilles really started kicking up so I ran to favor that foot.  At mile 2 because I was favoring the left foot, my right hip began to ache and in that last mile I didn't know which side hurt more.  i ended up shuffling/waddling that last mile.  And in the last 100 feet I said the hell with it and just picked up the pace for a strong finish!!!!!!
