Attempted run
Totally gorgeous evening for an outside run. I've been whining about my sore legs all week and they felt better except for my right hamstring. It's obvious now that's beyond just sore to injured somehow.
I gave it a full mile to loosen up, but it was just getting worse, so I stopped. Don't want to aggravate it even more.
I'll move today's bike to tomorrow, which is supposed to be a rest day, and hold off on the run until Saturday.

Here she is with my nephew last fall. She's 15 today. Holy crap. She starts driver's ed. in two weeks. Double holy crap.

So, I have to go to the Philippines again in April. Gee, lucky me. So it'll be pretty much two weeks of no biking again. There are stationary bikes in the fitness room, but no real rides for the 12 days I'll be gone. Rats. And it's the hot season there (e.g. it was 81 degrees at 4 am there last I checked), so all running will be even more hellish than normal. Oh joy! Ok, whine over.

Very short treadmill run

I went way easy on the weights today for squats and lunges as my legs are still sore. Normal weights for all the other tracks though.
Some serious stretching and IT band rolling. Ouch.

He's actually 42, but we missed the first two. I could feel the IT band on the kicks. :(
Swim at lunch today and possibly a bike spin tonight. Not sure though. My legs are super sore and my IT is very irritated with me today.

On the hybrid again outside. Lovely day! The first 15 minutes was a slow ride with my daughter, but the last half hour was a better pace.
Of course, since the computer doesn't work, I'm not exactly sure what that pace is.
I'm off from work today so I'm going to try to bike outside in the forecasted 60-and-sunny weather. We have several doctor appointments today, though (one for the dog, two for the kid), so I'll have to see where it'll fit in.
Hamstring feels better this morning, but I'm still going to wait on the running until tomorrow as planned.
